Traditional farming media and information channels in regional Australia are in decline, with the ABCs Land Line the only remaining TV programme for farmers. Regional networks are shutting down and country people now rarely see themselves on TV. In addition, print media is disappearing from the bush with local newspapers downsizing or closing altogether. New media in the agricultural space is fragmented, difficult to navigate and prone to vested interest.

This is where CULTIVATE comes in, a subscription-based video streaming platform for farmers and regional Australians. It will be the one stop shop for not only valuable information delivered in an engaging way, but also host content on key topics and issues ranging from ag science to lifestyle. It will foster a sense of community through storytelling and shared experiences; an entertaining, informative and credible service; the Netflix for farmers.

Servicing the nearly 10 million Australians living, working and playing in rural and regional Australia and also the 300,000 people working directly in agricultural. Our content will focus on best practice agriculture that supports building natural capital on farms and celebrating the unique regional lifestyle.
